This project emerged with the aim of ensuring sustainable reintegration by providing basic support for Gender Based Violence survivors along with their children residing at APEIRON Safe home. The basic support includes health support for survivors and their children, formal education support for their children and various income-generating skills for survivors making them financially independent to uplift their life.

After the re-integration with the families from the safe homes, GBV survivors had to manage everything themselves and also continue their children’s education. The burden of sending their children continuously to school after leaving a safe home along with other problems has created a different problem for them so their reintegration process is not been sustainable. It was also found that the priorities for the children’s and mothers’ health were left behind due to their other fourth priorities. In addition to this problem of resources, it was found that the GBV survivors were not able to take care of their children and families including health due lack of economic empowerment. Therefore, this project is also designed to address these above-stated problems faced by GBV survivors including health and education.

This project aims to provide GBV survivors along with their children with basic support to enhance their sustainable reintegration and decrease GBV.

The objective of the project are:

To ensure GBV survivors’ children who have been hosted in safe home, a continue learning experience through formal (school) education after leaving the safe home.
Ensuring GBV survivors’ children and families who have been hosted in safe home of Apeiron, a basic medical support.
To develop the income generation skills for the women to be independent.

Major Activities:

Education support to the needy children
Health support to the children and families
Technical trainings to the GBV survivors
Flexible fund support to the GBV survivors
Project Management, monitoring and evaluation

Benefeciary Selection Procedure

Project beneficiaries will be selected in following basis:
• Cases collected from Apeiron’s safe home and prioritized through it.
• Priority will be given to those beneficiary children who have or are in the process re-integration or re-settlement in their
families or communities.
• Children from any age bar, school going children will be selected.
• Children and family should be interested and committed in studying further.
• Children and families must be easily accessible to collect updates and information.
• Children shouldn’t be sponsored by any other organization.
• For technical trainings and grant support, participants must be GBV survivors.
